Nassarawa to name Eggon market after late monarch

The modern market being built by the Nasarawa State Government in Nassarawa Eggon is set to be named after the late Aren Eggon, Dr. Bala Abaine Angbazo.
Speaking during the funeral service of the late monarch at Awayi village, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the government would will do all it can to immortalise the late Bala Angbazo.
Governor Sule said Dr. Bala Angbazo was known for his passion for education and physical development and the state government under his administration will continue to sustain his legacies through projects and policies.
Also speaking at the funeral, the first Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, described the late Aren Eggon as a forthright and visionary father not just to his biological children and the Eggon people but to the entire state.
