Buhari appoints Nasarawa Gov member presidential council on Digital Economy
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, as a member of the Presidential Council on Digital Economy and E-governance.
This was disclosed in a letter signed by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami.
Pantami said the constitution of the presidential council was part of efforts at implementing the National Digital Economy Policy (NDEPS) and the Nigerian E-Governance Master Plan (NEGMP).
The Minister described Nasarawa State as critical to the success of Nigeria’s digital economy agenda.
According to the statement, Sule and other members of the council will be inaugurated by President Buhari at a later date.
